We had our parent teacher meetings today and her teacher said that she had put in a written request for that. Mostly because third graders have to take standardized timed tests at the end of the year and without having her evaluated they would not be able to give her additional time.

I will not bother using those terms anymore then when I am talking to the school.

I am excited to say that at the beginning of last year she struggled terribly with reading but we have focused on reading as well as listening to audiobooks to help develop visualization skills and today I was told that she is reading and comprehending two grade levels higher than her actual grade!!! Woo Hoo.
Still struggeling with anything that is writing related but I have high hopes.
