Our district uses the online version of the FBA Profiler Pro. We are in Ohio and a new law in Ohio (HB 29) has taken effect that restricts what educational software can be used.
Restrictions include:
-Educational records are the sole property of the school district

-No selling, sharing, dissemination, or commercial use of educational records by the tech provider

-Ensure security safeguards for educational records.

How does the online version handle Personally Identifiable Information (PII)? Does it store this information on its server? Sell the info? Does the school own the data? Will FBA Profiler Online be able to be used in Ohio?
