This was not USSSA, most teams play 1 lever below in One Nat.

One Nat is the same as USSSA except for classes and Worlds to go to, except they both run at berlner.

They allow d teams to play c state. It almost happened last year. Nhc won c state as a d team but gassed out in the d state.

How does a team that wins a C State, stay in D and wins that, still play D.
