That was when that idiot swung the bat at Foltz when he forfeited them for being late, I believe.
That was the year some locals decided that gametimes don’t apply to them . Damn hillbillies
Foltz had around 70 teams, it was not 1 division.
Bob Cash ran everybody off.
This tournament used to start Friday night when you would get around 50 teams. Back when it was a one division event. Place was packed.
No Friday night games now. Inmates running the asylum this weekend.
I believe they had enough for Saturday but not enough for the Friday start. IMO, Friday start is dumb and Jimmy is being greedy.
Luke warm take but this tourney is going to be a shit show with how many teams he’s brought in to such a small, shit hole park. Really living up to the Money Nation name.
Again this weekend?
Sometimes life gets in the way. Have 4 different guys getting married this year, and another guy is expecting his first child. Also have a couple other guys still involved in coaching baseball.
For some guys on other teams, that’s not issue; they would rather spend money on softball than on their families/loved ones. For us, it’s not that serious.
Also, had a larger roster last season. 2-3 guys wanted to hang them up or go play somewhere else. No one was cut
Don’t know you or your teammates , but find it strange ,that last year when you were one of the better D teams you had no problem getting your guys or guys from other teams to play. But now you are C it’s an issue.
Have to find a place to play on a weekend when you have enough guys. Haven’t had a weekend with a full roster since end of April?
Nothing in Indianapolis? I guess we’ll have to find something in a nearby big city.
Only reason to even play WSL or One Nation is getting to play down. Those teams are not smart enough to realize what you stated. Makes zero sense.
I dont get the point of the sandbagging. Circle city, BTX, MOE, Six Pac all playing WSL D. What do they gain from traveling to play D? Playing the same teams they would here in C with more HR's
