The dedication it takes to run an organization and to make sure that all teams are alerted to a possible change in format should be a priority. With the inclement weather conditions that were forecasted in the Kokomo area the director should have cancelled the tournament after the first hour of heavy down pouring rain. Instead they try to push the games back to a 1pm start time. Then a following update of a 3pm start time for all games was posted which would result in a 2 day tournament… with many of us having families and only planning to play a 1 day tournament most of us would not be able to adjust to this new format for the tourney. So instead of the director being accountable for the poor management decisions which resulted in half of our team not being able to make the games due to the format change which was never listed as a possibility for said tournament, they are trying to make us pay to drop out of this tourney. There’s a lot of travel time lost for this tournament and the hardship it puts on some people to have to either make that journey again or get a hotel room seems not to be on the directors mind. It’s a sad day when not only do we not get to play in a tournament but we also have to fork over money for a tournam
