They did not use their full usssa/ one nation roster. From what I saw, they had three guys that were on an auto bump team in 2023 in ele. Every other person I saw played d over the last 5 years and were not on a team that was bumped. I had to make my best assumption based off of their history as I could. My stipulations were if you played one level more than 5 years ago and there was no history since, I would count you as one level lower. Also, if 2024 was the first year playing "c" and you were d or lower last year, I would use last years ranking. It may not be the best way to do things but I did the best I could to try to keep things on a level playing field.

IMO usssa hiding their rankings is more detrimental to their program at the state level than helpful. If it could be seen, maybe the other directors would have them play in the same division as they would be in usssa.

Overall, I think things went very well. I was able to give back $2650 to the home run derby champ and the top two teams. Not too bad for a 9 team tournament. I will try to run another one in the and am open to running it as usssa if we can work out the details.
