For those that don’t know, longtime slow pitch umpire Bubba Beaty passed away in his sleep Saturday night. Bubba umpired a lot of tournaments here in the state of Indiana and surrounding states in the Midwest. He loved the game of slow pitch and in the past few years he found his new love in youth fast-pitch softball. RIP my friend Bubba and you were loved by so many people around the softball community!
