Welcome to the USSSA/GSL Kings Winter Nationals. We appreciate your choice in selecting USSSA/GSL for this weekend's event. Please find below the rules for Saturday. All games will take place at Sports Park, located at 6701 S Harding St, Indianapolis, IN 46217. The tournament bracket was published yesterday on USSSA.COM. Coaches please check in in the office. We only take cash in an envelope with team name or venmo( Richard-Foltz-7) the day of the tournament. Only legal USSSA/GSL balls are permitted—Stadium balls are not allowed. We will have some Hi Core- balls available for purchase at a rate of $80 per dozen. There is no uniform requirement for this event. - Pitching-USSSA- Toe the rubber. - E Division: 3 home runs, designated hitter, IE. - D Division: 5 home runs, designated hitter, IE. Yes we gave extra home runs have been for this event. Courtesy runners 1 time per inning anyone on the roster, and it is mandatory for the pitcher to have a courtesy runner anyone from the roster. Rosters must be submitted online and must be in eligible status. Bat testing will be conducted by Lacy in the office, limited to USSSA legal 240 bats, it is the players responsibility to provide the tester a legal bat. Each player is allowed one bat, which must display the sticker at all times. Any additional bats tested per player will incur a fee of $5.00 each after 1 PM. The office is located near diamonds 1-3. Please no tobacco products, seeds or chewing gum on the turf. We kindly ask that you dispose of your trash in the designated receptacles. Maintaining the quality of these premium facilities is essential, especially when comparing adult tournaments to youth events. Note that no bottles are permitted in the park, as liquor is sold on-site. There are two concession stands available. We uphold a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding unsportsmanlike conduct. Any player ejected for such behavior will be ineligible to participate in the following game. A gate fee of $5-7.00 is required, cash only. Please inform the gate staff that you are attending for slow pitch, as there will also be Fast Pitch events occurring on the same day. Prizes for the tournament are as follows: E Division: - $1,000 cash for the winner, along with an unpaid USSSA World berth and rings. - $300 for second place, also with an unpaid World berth. D Division: - $700 for the winner, along with an unpaid World berth and rings. - Second place will receive an unpaid berth Since this is a national- it gets 2 berths-unpaid for usssa and GSL berths are by participation, it counts a 1 event.USSSA berths are done by placement for events- Qualifiers 1 berth- Nationals 2- States 1-4.
