Re: A prime example of why I want lifters to be loyal (committed) to NASA
I am with you Rich. NASA hosts meets close to where I live here in Eudora,KS and am very fortunate. BUT, I am also very loyal to my federation and am one of those lifters who travels distances to meets. I have traveled to Laughlin, Denver, Joplin, Omaha, and Des Moines to name a few cities. I will also continue to do this as I feel the only way to test my metal is to show up at these meets and compete against those who can't/won't travel to my area. With all that being said, my point is this- those who say they can't afford to travel, I get it but don't use your limited resources to lift in a fed that doesn't care about you. Save that money and use it to show your loyalty or commitment to the federation that treats everyone like family. I have been lifting in NASA since 2007, and I will never leave. Rich you are a pioneer and the sports biggest asset in my opinion. The types of meets you host and the way you have thought outside the box by adding in special awards, new events like MoS, and the USA Team Nationals meet put you leaps and bounds ahead of everyone else. NASA FOR LIFE!
I'm done ranting now.
