You see, great lifters aren't always great people in real life. It is rare in the real world to find great athletes and great people in the same body. It is even rarer to find these qualities in Powerlifters in today's world.
I truly admire these two guys for what they have accomplished on the platform and especially in NASA. But I absolutely admire these guys and respect them for what they do for our lifters and the organization off the platform. This, I believe, is what sets NASA apart from all other federations in the country today. We are basically a Powerlifting Federation within a community of like minded real world people. Yes, we argue, disagree and sometimes spat but we all come together when the call goes out. This is what family, friends and communities do.
The two men I am referring to are Tyson Meyers and Jamie McDougal. I sincerely say "Thank You" to both these young men and ambassadors for NASA. We are all proud of you and are glad you are a major part of NASA!
