I just have to smile and shake my head when lifters say things like this. Usually it's someone who is never happy with anything they have. They are self destructive and don't think for a moment they don't live their own lives with this same mind set. Next time someone says this to you look at them closely and look at their lives more closely. It kind of reminds me of the man or women who tells their spouse that they have "out grown" the other person. I was always taught that when a couple unites the "grow together" as one and thus they have a strong union in the end. These same people spend their short lifting lives chasing that rainbow.
One note to you Pat, watch people like this because they are sending you a strong message, it won't be long before they "outgrow" YOU and your gym. These people seem to always "outgrow" everything around them. Some people are just hell bent to self destruct. At the very least they are proving to you that they have no loyalty and they think of the work as "dirty."
My new philosophy today is a simple one, "Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out and don't touch the door knob when you leave." I am simply fresh out of "Give a Sh*t." I ran out about a month ago.
