I have fitted new mains with a 3 piece bearing
on the timing side.there seems to be a fair bit of end float .025 the manual suggests .003-.017 Has any one used shims at this stage? are they necessary? I guess if I put a .005 shim be hind each side it will be good. Am i just being to fusy? will that amount of play be alright?
