Hi Rudi, well after adjusting the inlet tappet gaps ( both about 2 thou over ) and the exhaust ( 1 fine the other about 2 thou out),cleaning the air filters and cleaning and re-gapping plugs started first kick this morning and ran and idled perfectly. Took it for a short run and all seems good. Big test will be to see if it starts the same way tomorrow. Thanks for your tips.
