Chainguard query
Posted by Paul on 4/28/2019, 11:25 pm
Gidday blokes, long time not on site. Does anyone know if the chainguard from a TSX bonneville will fit a 1978 bonneville. The reason l ask is l have a pair of ikon shocks fitted and there is no clearance between the guard and the spring on the ikon as they are a bit thicker than the standard girlings. I was looking at a Tsx bonnie at this years 43rd All British Motorcycle Rally at Newstead Victoria and noted they had wider springs and a nicely cut out section to get around this issue. So before l commence any ham fisted effort with a hacksaw to modify the existing guard l thought this could be an option. Anyway thanks for your thoughts and hope you're all getting ready for a good summer of riding. Cheers, Paul
