Best chance of a snapper will be back around by Hawai or Maraenui this weekend, a meter swell is not to bad and the wind is offshore. On this side it turns south again. usually means the fishing inside of mahia will be difficult and very sloppy. The swell is NE so that the other side will be not to bad.

There has been a few snapper turn up here, but they are still very rare. There is allot more on the other side.
