The Club Postal Casting was well run, the venue (Polo Ground) is local and close to town and very user friendly, we were casting in to a stiff cross wind but the distance was still there, good to see a few new guys coming along to to have a go which was great to see. A big thumbs up to the club - .
Jock and I headed to Pania( Hawkes Bay) on Saturday afternoon stopping along the way to check out the beaches and some of the remote locations the guys fish- I can see why they catch so many good fish form H/Bay to Gissy and further north - deep beaches. Any way we arrived at Yoeys place( Pania Club Capt) around the 7 pm mark, all I can say is what a fantastic host , ( best lamb roast I have had for a while ),
Any way Sunday morning 9 am at the H/Bay Polo Grounds for Postal Casting, this is a club which is growing fast and very well organised, things worked like a well oiled clock. Another great venue with a great group of guys.
Again great to see a few new faces having a go.
Jock Bielski - Casting Coordinator for the NZACA is an assist to the organisation, he has alot of knowledge and is more than willing to pass the info on, alot of the guys learnt a few things to help with there casting which will help with there fishing in a big way- so another thumbs up to Jock.
