Water temp seems to suit the fish here also. Three gurnard a few red cod and some small doggies on Sunday evening. Only one other keen fisherman in sight on the beach. Anglers here seen to be concentrating on river mouths, I guess Kahawhai are feeding up big time on whitebait.
