The stretch of water just to the north of that boundary line was alive with fish on Saturday evening. A huge work up of Kingfish chasing, I presume, small Kahawhai, all within easy casting distance. With all those rods out there will be little chance of fishing a small live bait in the hope of catching a big Kahawhai or a tussle with a Kingie.
