Penn 12' and Squall 15 O/H arrived yesterday , I had to wait until tonight to give them a try.
As with the other Prevail rods it is well put together and looks really good it is two piece.
The Squall 15 reel looks good and is about the same size as the old 535 Penn . A feature of this reel is its cast control it seems to be as safe as houses, I was casting in a strong wind and not being the flashiest exponent of the DARK SIDE it behaved its self very well making me look good, almost like I knew what I was doing .
The rod being 12' took a couple of casts to get my timing . I started with a 100gm and then to a 125gm it should handle a 150gm without any problems.
All in all not a bad combo and very well priced
