Well we had an awesome night tonight, held out over the weekend to fish tonight.
The night started off with me heading out to a mates place to fish, but after a bourbon or two i flagged the mission down the beach and turned home deciding to go to a very local and lazy spot that turned on the goods, bite time started around 11 and was solid up to 1am, bait was pillies and prawns for the rig.
Fish were tentative and waiting for a good hit accounted for better hook-ups, we got 4 snaps to 2kg 2 nice rig a stingy and a red cod plus an eel or three, we also lost a couple of nice fish to spitting the hook in the surf but the worst theft of the night was a cat that stole one of my snaps little bast ard.
First attempt at the new formula seamed to work OK, time will tell.
