I tried to give it a good heave on the day although I'm cetainly no Neil. Just bad luck I guess.
A new mid section seemed logical as the butt section tip is cracked but looks repairable. Maybe the repair and mid section replacement combined make it uneconomical. They have offered me a cost replacement slx plus GST, which is actually a good deal, but just beyond my finances.
Looks like a new rod is on the cards. Any one wanna buy some sheep?
