Hi Guys, It's been a while as I have been busy at the pub.The Ninety should be a lot of fun this year. the organisers have done a sterling job this year so lets hope the weather plays its part.
Now Phil, hope you don't mind if I do a bit free advertising lol. The Kauri Arms Tavern Has a lot of things this year to keep you guys happy. Everyone who enters the Snapper Bonanza gets a free beer, then we will have a meal deal for you guys. $18 for a meal and a beer. Then we have a stamp 4 draw, so you buy 4 beers over the week and you go into the draw to win an $800 kiwi sizzler smoker, then on top of that we are running our own snapper comp as well. This one is an average weight comp and the entry fee is the price of a beer.There is no need to bring your fish, just your ticket and fish tag and the prize for this GTV $600. We also have our entertainment for you guys as well. On the thursday night we have Kaeroke and a wet tee shirt comp, we have some great looking tits up this way guys so you gona get an eye full hahahaha.On friday and saturday nights we have a local band Raven playing and it is free entry for that. For all you guys who are staying out of town, which is most of you, there will be a courtsoy bus that us pubs have put on that will be running from 6pm to 12pm on each day of the comp. the Kauri Arms also has a van which we are using as well.We will pick you up and take you back.
Me i'm really looking forward to catching up with all you guys and talking some bullshit over a drink, it has been awhile since I last saw some of you guys and have missed the banter Any way all you who are coming up, drive safe and we will see you when you get here.
Oh and the fishing has been good latley. I filleted a 9kilo snapper the other day for one of my staff members, what an awsome fish.Tasted good as well
