yep 100 Hours averaged per Snapper weighed not many fish really, but double the amount of last year for a similar angler appearance. Still the best surfcasting comp in the country!. Fantastic week, got a tagged 47cm snap first cast alas that was my only tagged snap over the four comp days. Caught my best snaps before the comp(5kg and 3kg near Matopia island). Had a wee flick in the Parenga for a bounty of Snaps too. Damm f##king Kahawai tho were everywhere and taking any bait. There were some nice trevs caught too up to 7kg!. Well done to the comp organizers man there were some fantastic spot/lucky draw prizes too. Cheers for the hospitality Frosty and the cough medicine.
