Hi Tintin, I have 2 permanent caravans at Lake Ferry and live in Lower Hutt. I mostly fish around the south coast and up the east coast a bit. Tried Kapiti a few times but I could not even catch a sea lice there !!. My folks have a boat in Nelson so venture down the sounds for some snapper fishing from time to time. Snapper are not a very regular catch at Lake Ferry though I did land an 8.5kg specimen one day using a whole prawn.
