Really it's personal choice within our surfcasting club there is quite a range so perhaps don't do anything until we catch up, i have a Kawasaki 300 that has never let me down but others have Hondas and Suzuki's etc, the other thing to consider for Papamoa Beach is you will need to register the bike and get a council permit, not a major but just another hassle, we can point you in the right direction there as well.
