We fished Tahaenui this weekend, the forecast wind/rain went around us
The sea stayed flat and clean.
Managed 5 gurnard and 3 Kahawai for two people and 14 hours fishing, so yeah we worked for it.
Spent an hour or so chasing a big ray up and down the beach on 6kg - busted it off in the end as it was heading under a kontiki line..

Sorry no photos, waste of time taking a bag full of camera gear with you only to realise the memory card is still in the computer at home..
