The Veritas is the next step after the Surfline. The differences are that the Veritas has a nano coating giving it greater hoop strength, It is also a little stiffer in the butt and the tip than the Surfline. The basic harmonics of the rods are similar.
If you like the Veritas get another. You will find that they now have Fuji K guides which are stronger than the origonal Fuji guides we used.
