Earlier tis year I went for a fish at the reserve at bowentown, if you take the road that goes up the hill at the reserve there is a track leading down to the beach. Chanel runs about 70m off the beach at low, I had about 3 casts, landed a nice snapper and lost another good fish. There are a few other spots around the reserve that I reckon would fish well, in particular a few spots inside the harbour, one spot I checked out had loads of current an fairly deep water,.
