Well same sex marriage is now legal. But a by catch is what it is bringing out of the wardrobe. And none other than our very own GK. I quote

I cried when I read that, I was so amazed that he had had been able to keep his secret for so many years. But now we have it. And what a sad day it was for me and many thousands of diehard surfcasters scattered across the Nation. Twas a black day indeed for the Fishing World.

And I see recently the same person journeyed to some remote Pacific Island, to catch none other than a Bonefish or two. Why I ask myself, would one travel that far, at that expense, when a quick visit to the Doctor and a prescription solves the problem. Yes its a strange world we live in alright.

And if you happen to be one of the many thousands he has enticed or bribed to join his Facebook Page. Its like a journey back in time. The moustache just keeps getting bigger. The sideboards longer and the bell bottom trousers more bizzare. Soon we will be subjected to the black and white pics taken with a Box Brownie.

Its like Colin Meads all over again. What next, GK on TV telling me I have to take a Red Cod Pill each day to cure my casting bad habits. The mind boggles. The day the GK Kontiki hits the market, will be the day I hang up my rods. Snappa and Hangler can rejoice, all along GK was one of you. He just had trouble facing his demons, but now he has at last come out of the closet.
