Tried to go out on the boat yesterday but was rough as guts..
So we decided to head to tolaga bay wharf poo brown water logs and al sorts of crap floating round arrived at lunchtime to a high tide after 4 hours of fishing i had my first snapper and gurnard of the year! a big thresher and some solid kahawai to top it off. I didnt have any gear so grabbed a couple old reels and 8ft rock rods a pack of hooks and a few beaten up sinkers!
It was the most fun iv had in a long time!
