Snapper rock!

Over the past 3 days a few of us stayed down at Mahanga, the weather was not flash with blacks beach through to Wairoa been pretty average at best and Taylor's bay full of crabs we decided to head to snapper rock, having never caught more then 1 or 2 fish there at one time. after 4 hours of fishing and watching an amazing thunder/lightening storm i was blown away we fished from 530 till 930 on the outgoing tide with 10-15 knot northerly and 3ft of swell we managed 2 2.5kg kahawai 2 nice snapper 3 gurnard and 13 trevs all ranging from 30-50cm fresh frozen bonito proved deadly with anchovy and occy also working on occasion will have some photos to come....
