Yeah one happy Chappy Exactly the same date Sept 29th when i landed my 8.3kg Snapper at Te Awanga last year, this fish tipped the scales at 12.26kgs . Very funny this fish jumped although i could not make out it was a Snapper as soon as the rod tipped over, so i was a little unsure it was a Snapper at first, and smashed the surface again 20 mtrs from shore. Still unable to tell though it felt and did all the Snapper thumps etc , it was active on the surface. The rest as seen on Marks video footage , great timing there Mark eh. Bait pilchard, long cast pulley rig on the bottom. A new PB just by 60grams. Just the start of good things to come in HORSEBAY !
