Bait is a funny old thing to sell .

Pillys are too big or too small . Used to shake my head at the odd person who would rant about the size of the available bait .
The size is what was caught... its not like they have the things in pens to be harvested when they reach a certain size .

The shops are simply ordering it by the kg . When stocks run low from the trawlers you get what you can .Small large freezer burnt ones its a case of buy that or have nothing to sell .
