I wish to thank those who have sent me messages for my trip to China .... my wife and I leave in six hour's time.

I would also like to thank the people who have appreciated some of the little tips I have passed on, also the encouragement regarding the videos my wife and I put together.

With a lifetime of fishing the beaches I am still learning and if some of the tips I have picked up from continual research has helped you, then it has been my pleasure.

Anything relevant to this wonderful sport I can learn or film in China will be brought back and posted. I am unsure if I will be able to pick up this site in Asia, if so I will keep in touch.

I wish you all tight lines, a very strange expression when it's known that large fish usually give slack line bites. Anyway, good luck to you all. I leave you with a simple wish: I hope you get as much enjoyment from fishing the surf as I do and may the coming winter not be too hard on you ... it's high summer in China.
