Given that Snapper will eat anything that a Moki will eat, the above is not surprising. The surprising part was that there was a Snapper present to eat it

It often happens when targeting one species, you catch something else, not always better than what you were chasing, but very nice when it is.
My own best Snapper was taken on a tiny bait intended for Gurnard, but I'm not about to complain that I caught a Snapper instead of a Gurnard
