Hi Todd - I got mine off Trademe - they are sold as rare earth magnets in all different sizes - I mostly use the 6X1mm and on the bigger reels ill go up to 8X2mm and arrange them in (+-+-) and the further out towards the outside of the spool the more effect they have at breaking - I find 4 magnets is overkill .
