A great day was had by all at the annual Pania Casting Champs in Hastings. WE suffered with high temperatures and wicked sun most of the day with medium to occassionaly strong head winds. Casting distances were subdued for most due to the headwind and lack of practice. No records broken but some nice personal achievements. I am sure the results will follow.
I am reinspired with a new rod I have recently purchased. It is smooth and easy which suits me perfectly. This was the first time I have used it and managed a 148m+ cast.
