Good morning all, I am considering the purchase of a new overhead reel and wondered what some of you recommend. I am currently using ABU's. A 6500 Chrome Rocket, a 10000 and an 8000. The 10000 still performs quite well but I have retired the 8000. I have heard that the new ABU's aren't quite as good as they used to be, is this true? The main function of any new purchase is fishing, not distance casting, I will use my 6500 for any land based casting. Looking forward to your thoughts. Happy hooking.
