Came in 2nd with a 1.7kg snapper, Caught a smaller one too. The bait thing was interesting as two of us caught all the snapper on the day and we were both using crayfish for bait.
Shows that you need variety in your bait selection on any day as they might only like one thing. Kahawai were less selective and caught on a number of baits. Best fish of the day was a moki over three kilos caught by a woman fishing down by the rocks. Sea wa flat and a little dirty.
