My old bear has moved on.
After 11+ years of faithful service (and very exciting experiences at times!) I have placed it in the care of another keen BoP fisho.
I've had to de-programme the old Bear tho, because it had developed a few bad habits (some of which have shown up in his successor) Things like eating kontiki longlines, climbing impossible rocks and forgetting how to get down again, grabbing half a dozen surfcasting lines at a time in the middle of the night etc etc.
The one big bad thing old Bear hasn't handed down was his inability to swim underwater. That domain will remain entirely his!
Expect to see your beaches revisited by the old boy at some stage, I expect he'll still have those easily recognisable yellow eyes.
He might even be a bit better behaved than previously...
like me he's slowing down a bit.

Then again the new owner is a lot younger than me
so maybe Old Bear may regain some of his earlier zest.
