Hi, I've found an older CD XD rod in a shop. It's 13'6 (the newer ones are 13 or 14 ft). It's the same colour as the newer versions and the components are the same. It's a slightly fatter rod - the external diameter is bigger. And it's heavier to hold - the blank must weigh quite a bit more. They told me in the shop that this CD XD was made in NZ.
I wonder if it's more powerful than the newer versions? Anyone know anything about it? I wonder if the new rods are better than the old one - they're definitely lighter.
