Just been tying up some new Owner hooks for a trial only to find that all of the five hooks in the packet have a proud sharp edge at the eye. 3 were not too bad. Two hooks left a tiny nick in the line when I gave the line a good thrashing about from side to side as a good fish might. Appears that this is caused by whatever process they use to shear off the wire...it leaves a burr. Checked my Gammies and they are totally smooth. I'm sticking to what I know ...Gammies for me.
