brass monkey Archived Message Posted by chad HB on 4/7/2007, 4:52 pm i dont think ill make it to that event?? but good luck guys! and gals for that matter!.... crap weather and cold water equals red cod cutta and kahawai so its back up the bush again this weekend, the fishings not so hot but the hunting's not so bad at this time of the year and the trigger happy people seem to disappear, allowing the opportunist the occasional opportunity for success. the feeling of a cold still morning, high in the back country. native trees and scrub as far as the eye can see with snow capped mountains in the back ground and the sound of a fresh water spring trickling away is an amazing thing!! it doesnt get to much better than that!! the weather shows a little rain but thats no drama.
