Yeah good night out in the rain, a nice metre of swell at westshore to get them lemons moving around, and the cod to open there mouths for the COD KING. 1st bait out resulted in a nice little peel of and subsequent tussle with Hamish, and Warwick observing, end result a 7kg lemon. Quiet a wait for the next and last one of a modest 5kg, (THO ALL THESE LEMONS ARE IN GREAT CONDITION). No cod for me he he, one for captin salty seadog!. Bait crayfish, as per the norm, and i think a couple more smoothound trips are on the cards now through til sunday, as the rest of the fishing is pus in our muddy, bleak conditions.
