Re: Moral of the story Archived Message Posted by chad HB on 22/7/2007, 11:47 am, in reply to "Moral of the story" conditions where great! nice sea it was just the rain! and the fact i forgot my all weather jacket so i rationed the clothes i had, but the rain got through and i felt like a wet blanket i fished waikokapu for a couple hours and thats where i got the gurnard. i left there because its a fairly boring place and bugger the gurnard i like the thought of snapper i thought about chucking a lemon bait out but decided not to as they are full of baby's and it seems a waste spiney on the other hand!!!!! i lost count at 14-15 odd but each one had a good dozen little fallas inside so thats a good 200 i got rid of!!! YEHAA there was only 1 or two that didnt swallow the hook? i moved 3 times but they kept coming. they where not so fond of the kahawai .......but then again the cod where so it was lose lose!!
