me and a mate(hayden) shot up the bush for the weekend, it wasn't long before the shit hit the fan and everything went bloody wrong....... unloaded the quads the gear and headed off!!  we forgot food and worst of all the bike shat itself !!  a couple hours later i thought i had it sussed but it was not to be! it died on the sceen .the sun was shinning a little wind but nothing major. we split up and headed in opposite directions, plenty of sign around the place but no bloody animals ? so we took our anger out on half a dozen goats on the way back to the hut got up at 5am and headed to a clearing to wait for sunrise but nothing took! so 4 hours later i decided to head back to where i was the day before but get right on top of the ridge and drop in over the other side!on the way there while on the back of haydens bike we flipped the bike and very nearly got nailed, raring up like a horse on a steep face and cumin over the top anyhow we came across a huge clearing that was the size of a foot ball field but again nothing on it? so no raost mark maintance next week

me and hadz sat there in disgust for a while trying to catch our breath . i looked over the side and it was open grass gut with 2 good stags on it. an 8 point stag and a 4 point stag, both looked in top condition. at this stage we where around 400m from them. I didnt want to blow it so we tried to get as close as we could only to find we had gotten to greedy. i climbed down following my mates hand signals from a distance ( this was extremely comical!! his signal's where right in front of him and from 300m away you cant make it out) and you just want to yell out, hold your hands up you idiot! so i can see! 
just as the ####en rain came down at 1pm
