HiSpent three hours out here today. Went to the southern side first, to sloppy with a south west wind.
So shot over to northern side where I was out of the wind. Crabs were doing their stuff, managed one spiky dog about two foot. Must have been feeling good today, let him go so he could head up north.
Finished the day off with a bit of kite flying practice (tacking) and testing a release clip I came up with in preparation for towing my trace out. Actually worked. There is a release clip on the rig but it is to far down the line to suit me.
Maybe tomorrow, wind behaving, I will send a couple of hooks out of the beach and see whats doing there.
