    Hi Folks.

Loaded up with Sufix Synergy 28lb today. Used to use 15lb on the beach. But thought I would go a bit heavier until I regain my skills. Wot do you guys use on a clean beach. Found some skirts (with hooks) that are kinda similar to what you use Chad. Got one green one and one pink one. Also got a Garys (TT) extreme distance casting Rig plus an anti crab rig. Used to just use a bit of polystyrene years ago. Square as oppossed to round.

Got some 36lb heavy line for off the rocks. Another down rigger clip for the kite line. Salted mullet, a pile of hooks and a few other little goodies.

Yes I have joined the year 2007. Must admit stuff ain't cheap these days. Still cheaper than a boat lol.

I am a bit of an inventor so after studying this stuff I will be coming up with a few new idea's that I will trial and see how it goes.

I am presently working on two idea's for real long distance casting off a fixed spool reel. One I tried is showing excellent results, a very cheap option, just have to work out the finer points. The other is going to take a little more work but I am aiming for 200 yards plus. Of course they may all turn to poo, then on the other hand they may be a commercial proposition. But like all good things, they take time. When I am inspired I design, no inspiration. nothing happens.

Well gonna head out tomorro. Probably the beach. Gota test to Sufix and long distance thingie. Heck might even bait up.

    Cheers Trev
