Time to come out of the depths, waters getting warm into the shallows i go, time to spawn, time to eat up large. Once i dodge the trawlers on my search for food, i have to be weary of 25 hooks on one line, once i by pass them i have to look out for the one hooks near the surf. Once i make it past spawning i have to go through all this again in late summer - autumn to put on condition for the trip back into the depths...so catch me if you can, i'm just a humble Hawkes Bay snapper, large as i am because i only come in but a few months a year.
