    I think Kane hit the nail on the head -CONFIDENCE - i 100% agree if you didn't have confidence in your gear you might aswell be sitting at home...but in saying that making changers , improving , experimenting which i do at times dosen't mean i haven't got confidence -quite the oppersite it means i have more confidence to try new things. If i didn't change from my East Clive snapper catches i would be still using 100lb trace, 1 kon tiki hook and 2 corks to float my bait...back then i had confidence that would produce and it did 6 fold but to use that same rig today i would feel like i was wasting my time. So you see i only make changes through new learnt knowledge, some of my own ideas and the biggy having confidence in the gear and rigs producing fish, and i also make changes to better what to some people was already working...gotta love this sport - you can take it to any level you like and adabt that to the way you fish
